This beautiful Herkimer Diamond was unearthed by hand at the Ace of Diamonds Mine in Middleville New York in 1999. It weighs 3.571 grams / 17.855 carats and from point to point, side to side, measures 19.53mm x 14.31mm x 10.95mm thick. This one does have a very small moving enhydro bubble, (shown in 2nd fb Video). A shallow concoidal dip from an old enhydro blowout is observed in the middle of the neighboring face. This crystal has a rare 8 sided face,(see photo#2). 8 sided faces are known for grounding, protection, perspective. The view inside of the crystal through the 8 sided face is very beautiful. This Herkimer has 3 left activation windows (past time links). It also has a lovely little Rainbow portal (see photos 4&5). This crystal has two geometric keys; one on the side and one on the tip of a termination (see photo #6). There are also some subtle record keeper trigons that appear on the glassy surface of the main crystal faces. The 8 sided face does have 3 sided transmistter faces next to it.
