This Beatiful bicolor tourmaline crystal weighs 1.823 grams / 9.115 carats and measures 36.46mm x 5.90mm x 4.24mm. We believe the locality to be Brazilian, possibly Minas Gerais. When we acquired this crystal it was among several others within a box labeled "old stock Brazilian", which also contained some Maine Tourmaline. I would greatly appreciate any opinions on the specific locality of this crystal. This is a very interesting one being bicolor with green on the bottom and pink for most of the crystals length. It is very gemmy and has an excellent complete pyramidal termination. The watermelon resemblance is certainly there; yet the prominent pink makes this a fine polychrome Tourmaline that's more akin to Rubellite.
