This gem Aquamarine crystal weighs 27 grams / 135 carats and measures 41.33mm x 18.17mm x 17.44mm. It is one of my all-time best Pakistani Aquamarine crystals for several reasons. The luster is glassy and sleek. Photo #8 shows lightly etched striations on the main prism faces that reflect the glassy luster in a very aesthetic way. The saturation of color within this gem Aquamarine is just fabulous. 100% Natural, the color is a creamy light sky blue with hints of green that give this crystal an electric look. This Aquamarine has transparent gem clarity that's interrupted by lovely phantom inclusions. A single centralized beam runs through the c axis. The bottom of this beam extends from a larger mass of milky white haze that's quite mystical to the Eye. A beautiful spiral curves around the beam within the top portion of this crystal. The C-axis is open on the top termination. The bottom of this crystal is healed with light micro-etching. The top termination contains bevels that range in size. The top termination face serves as a window into the c-axis which gives a unique visual perspective on the hazy beam inclusion and its origin. This particular Aquamarine crystal is an ideal display specimen. It has a distinctive mystique to it that I cannot describe. The energetic vibration of this piece is calming and fulfilling. A crystal like this serves as a reminder of why I strive to collect the very best beryls. This crystal once belonged to a personal friend of mine who had originally purchased it directly from a humble family man in Pakistan. This particular quality of Shigar Aqua is very sought after.
