This listing is for the Exact Aquamarine Crystal shown in the photos. This incredibly beautiful and Unique Aquamarine crystal comes from the famous locality of the Pedra Azul pegmatite district in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Please refer to the following mindat link for an example of similar material from the same find. https://www.mindat.org/photo-344527.html -This museum quality specimen weighs 16.5 grams / 82.5 carats and measures approximately 40mm x 23mm x 20mm or 4x2.3x2cm. *has been removed from acrylic base* (clear stand not included). This Aquamarine is a solid crystal complete with beautiful hydrothermal etching. 100% Natural. The electric glacier blue saturation is stunning and the overall display value is next level. The depth and clarity are prominent when seen in person. This floater is doubly terminated and complete all around. There is some serious depth to be seen within the hazy gem clarity. Luster adds to the multiplex aesthetics of this piece. The luster varies from wet and glassy in appearance, to more sub-vitreous / waxy. The most lustrous and gem clean area is right at the "bottom front" region as seen in the photos. This area specifically has some of the most profound glassy hydrothermal etchings that I've ever seen on a beryl. When I first acquired this specimen I immediately did a specific gravity test to confirm that it is indeed beryl and not Topaz. This Aquamarine does share common characteristics with some of the high end Topaz specimens that I've seen come out of the Xanda mine in Brazil. This Aquamarine floater is a truly exceptional crystal from Pedra Azul that really sets a new standard for collecting. The naturally sculpted body is irrefutably pristine.
