This true golden beryl Heliodor crystal comes from the scarce location of Barra de Salinas, Jequitinhonha valley, Minas Gerais, Brazil. It weighs 11.77 grams / 58.85 carats and measures 45.16mm x 15.1mm x 9.75mm. The golden heliodor we offer is fully Terminated with no damage except for some concoidal chips near the very bottom non-terminated end of the crystal. Internally this Heliodor is very clear with a high concentration of hollow tubes / negative crystal growths as the only real inclusions. The luster crystal faces are glassy / sub-vitreous with Hieroglyphic-like Box Style etchings similar to that of a Medina Aquamarine. The top Termination of this piece is pyramidal with a flawless etched finish. Looking down the c-axis gives a nice greenish golden saturation. The color saturation is consistent all throughout the crystal and is hindered only by the hollow growth tubes inside. This Heliodor is a one of a kind in my collection, and it is easily one of my favorites. The main crystal faces are aligned in a semi di-hexagonal form; with one wide face neighbored by 8 less wide crystal faces. Three of which are known as second order prism faces. This golden beryl is natural and has a nice glow to it. It is an ideal display specimen as it is featured in my display cabinet. Metaphysically, this Heliodor works for all chakras, but is especially powerful and efficient for the Crown and Solar Plexus. It has an Isis face too! The Isis face is something that's more common with Quartz, so it is a real treat to have an Isis face on a high quality Heliodor.
