This Amazing Aquamarine crystal is from an older find in Pakistan. It is one of the finer Beryls with excellent qualities. This piece weighs 21.1 grams / 105.5 carats and measures 41.88mm x 17.87mm x 13.53mm. It has a beautiful gradient-style light blue color scheme. The color is pale and shows best in the evening light or indoors. The top edges of the crystal are sharp to the touch, which is sort of a rarity in my collection. I'm glad there are distinct natural patterns on this piece because to confirm it is 100% natural. The hexagonal form is slightly augmented by two second order prism faces that surround the smallest of the main 6 prism faces; creating a unique visual experience for that region. The luster on this crystal is very glassy. It is more of a window than a mirror, meaning that I can see through multiple faces at once and see a multi-windowed views through the c-axis. hexagonal record keepers sit atop, naturally. The slightly raised 2D hexagons are layered like fish scales. Please study the fb videos to see luster, clarity, and form. It has the best transparency. There are actually few Devic Temple platforms and inclusions. The small snowflake type markings are actually little crystals encrusted on the outside of the Aquamarine, and some are tiny keys. The termination itself has an awesome V formation that sequesters the large top face giving it a unique 7 sides. At about midpoint up the crystals' length, internally, there is a nice little Rainbow that usually looks like a twisted platinum mirror. It takes some doing to get the colored rainbow to appear, but it is Mystical. Some secondary Rainbows are also available within the devic temple lattices nearing the bottom of the crystal.
