Please Use This is a solid 142.50 carat piece of natural, carving-grade Aquamarine, sculpted by fluids in the pocket that etched the crystal over the years after it formed. It is a floater, complete-all-around. 4.8 x 3.1 x 2.7 cm, 28.5 grams from Teofilo Otoni, Mucuri Valley, Minas Gerais, Brazil. It is much more attractive and with a lively saturated blue color, in person (think of rich blue Topaz from the Xanda Mine). Classic for the locality, but a rare piece to be seen on the market today. This textbook floater is completely crystallized with a fractal-like expression of innumerable faces. It is definitely one of my most attractive display specimens, and the blue just cannot be substituted. The depth of this piece is amazing.
