This Herkimer Diamond is one of the most incredible crystals ever found at the private claim in Fonda NY. Considering size and quality, this crystal is on of the very finest single Herkimer Diamond in our collection, currently. It weighs a massive 186.9 grams / 934.5 carats and measures 76.97mm point to point and 54.38mm at maximum width. It has the classic Diamond shape that we all know and love. There's actually some 7 and 3 sided faces on the top termination. So, this crystal is a channeler / transmitter crystal. Photo #3 shows a natural geometric socket-style key that's a perfect fit for your thumb! The 4th photo shows an Isis face with an exposed / opened window in the center of it. This exposed window is a shallow concoidal dip that has some etching of its own. There is another key that's located on one of the 7 sided channeling faces, (see photos #6&8). This Master Stone also has one right activation window. The 7th photo shows an internally brownish region. Externally there are some thin cracks where old fluid inclusions escaped from this area due to thermal shock this crystal experienced during Earth changes. The browning is due to iron and other minerals deposits that seeped into the crystal over time. In my opinion it doesn't hinder the aesthetics, but rather it adds to the character of this piece. There's a large trigonal enhydro chamber deep in the center of this Master Stone. This 3D chamber is easily visible in person, as are the other anomalies this crystal presents. The first listing photo is important because it shows some of the Rainbows and Holographic inclusions, while displaying the inner clarity as well. There are some raised trigonal record keeper etchings on the main crystal faces. These are best seen when reflecting light off the surface. The fantastic holographic inclusions are sometimes best activated by shining light onto the midsection of the crystal while patiently maneuvering the crystal around to see them.
