This one comes from The Ural Mountains, Siberia, Russia. It is quite large for a phenakite, weighing 12.239 grams / 61.195 carats and measuring a little over 1 inch at maximum length. It is real Phenakite. We do specific gravity tests on our stones just to be sure. The vibration is a dead giveaway as well. Russian Phenakite is one of the less aesthetic, but more intense stones! this one has a "buzzing" type of rapid energy that can be overwhelming at times. A beginner or highly sensitive person may find it difficult to work with this particular stone. My suggestion would be to balance it with a hematite or other good grounding stone. Personally speaking I enjoy the rush of raw Phenakite! This is a good crystal for someone who wishes to own a nice sized phenakite with a strong vibration.
