Maine Tourmaline Crystal - Gemmy Dark Green Elbaite from Mount Mica Healed Termination Self Standing RARE Old Stock from 1970's Heart Chakra

This listing is for the exact Tourmaline Crystal shown in the photos. All of my Maine Tourmaline comes from my friend Michele. She and her husband self collected these in the 70's at Mount Mica in Maine, USA. This particular green elbaite tourmaline has an exceptionally dark green color saturation. I like to look at it under a light to see how gemmy it is internally. This is one of the nicest dark green Maine Tourmaline crystals I have. This color reminds me of chrome tourmaline. It may even have chromium in it. I can't be sure. The termination is definitely a healed one. The top has a melted look to it. The weight of this self standing tourmaline is 2.3 grams / 11.5 carats and it measures 12.65mm x 9.55mm. Although the photos aren't that great, this crystal is pretty nice for the location. It's a nice solid collectors piece and is an ideal Heart Chakra Stone. Good for grids, wrapping, healing, or carrying. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
