This listing is for the exact Tourmaline Crystal shown in the photos. All of my Maine Tourmaline comes from my friend Michele. She and her husband self collected these in the 70's at Mount Mica in Maine, USA. This particular green indicolite tourmaline is a fantastic example. This is one of the larger single crystals we have from the locality. It has a light bluish green color. The hint of blue is a quality best observed in person under natural light. The color is similar to that of certain North Carolina Emeralds that I've seen. This crystal is naturally self standing on both ends. It doesn't appear to have any immediate damage. The top termination is a thin and milky healed layer atop the c-axis. It weighs 3.5 grams / 17.5 carats and measures 11.42mm x 11.43mm x 12.14mm. Its' Max width and height are very close. It is a significant piece, perfect for adding to your collection. It has some areas of cat's eye sheen; chatoyance. This natural Maine Tourmaline is a Heart Chakra stone that's good for grids, jewelry, healing, Thumbnail display or carrying.
