This Doubly Terminated Imperial Topaz is a true Honey Golden Crystal. This piece is part of an older find of crystals that were exceptional in color, and were much larger in size than the newer finds from the area. This one weighs 8.9 grams / 44 carats and measures 26.43mm x 15.27mm x 10.22mm. This Brazilian Imperial topaz is 100% Natural with no treatments, polishing or repairs. It is self standing and it displays beautifully. This is truly a fine collector specimen. It is superior in luster and color saturation. It has a perfect form and would make for a nice pendant piece. This Imperial Topaz was purchased from a GIA graduate gemologist who had originally purchased this Ouro Preto Topaz crystal in 1983 when they were in Minas Gerais for a gem show in Belo Horizonte. We love crystals with history! The top is fully terminated with all faces. The bottom is naturally flat terminated with some areas of etching.
