This listing is for the exact Tourmaline Cluster shown in the photos. All of my Maine Tourmaline comes from my friend Michele. She and her husband self collected these in the 70's at Mount Mica in Maine, USA. This particular dark green Tourmaline cluster weighs a massive 110.3 grams / 551.5 carats and measures approximately 58mm at maximum length. This is technically a matrix specimen, but there really isn't much matrix at all. Most of the Cookeite is lightly coating some of the Tourmaline crystals. The largest crystals on this cluster have a sleek glassy luster and dark saturation. This is a good piece for the Heart Chakra. There are some partial terminations and etched / healed areas. It is one big chunk of Maine Elbaite Tourmaline. It has a dirty outer appearance that may be able to be professional cleaned. When wet this cluster looks much more gemmy and colorful because the Cookeite coating hides this beauty beneath it. I can see this piece being added to a grid for Heart centered healing.
