High Quality Maine Watermelon Tourmaline Cluster Bicolor Crystals With Quartz Crystal Points on soft Cookeite Matrix from Mount Mica ME USA

This listing is for the exact Tourmaline Cluster shown in the photos. All of my Maine Tourmaline comes from my friend Michele. She and her husband self collected these in the 70's at Mount Mica in Maine, USA. This particular WatermelonTourmaline cluster weighs 60 grams / 300 carats and measures approximately 51mm at maximum length across. The matrix itself is made up of soft Cookeite. When I say soft I mean that you could probably scrape it off if desired. There's a small vug area on this piece that hold some quartz points that are positioned stalagmite and stalactite style. I attempted to capture this in the 5th photo. The first two photos are taken under my light at my desk. The camera wasn't cooperating so I went and used flash for the last 3 photos to help show the color of the crystals better. Some of these crystals are quite gemmy and/or have nice luster. Most of the crystal clusters on this piece are in a spray type of formation. I can see this piece being added to a grid for Heart centered healing.
