Maine Watermelon Tourmaline Crystal - Multi color Elbaite from Mt. Mount Mica ME Maine - Gemmy & Self Standing RARE Old Stock from 1970's

This listing is for the exact Tourmaline Crystal shown in the photos. All of my Maine Tourmaline comes from my friend Michele. She and her husband self collected these in the 70's at Mount Mica in Maine, USA. This particular Watermelon tourmaline weighs 1.6 grams / 8 carats and measures approximately 11/16 inch long & 1/4 inch wide. It is self standing on both ends. The ends appear to have been recently healed, not recently broken. It appears to be more gemmy in person than it does in the listing photos. This crystal is translucent light green with a partial light pink core. Most of the core has cookite inside of it and is hollow near the top. There appears to be no immediate damage. This is a nice collector piece, perfect for a thumbnail display. This is an ideal Heart Chakra Stone. Good for grids, wrapping, healing, or carrying.
