This lovely AA Grade Herkimer Diamond weighs 4.667 grams / 23.335 carats and measures 22.95mm x 14mm x 11.13mm. The golden bubble appears to be a type of gas that moves within a larger chamber of water. (see photos 2 and 3). I'm a bit puzzled as to why it is golden. The water in which the bubble moves is completely clear. My theory is that there is a petroleum deposit inside of the enhydro chamber, and as oil separates from water it does so where there's air for it to settle around to escape the water; for example a cup of oil and water will have water at the bottom and oil risen to the top exposed to the air. This is what I believe has happened. This is perfect because there was just enough and not too much petroleum within the fluid inclusion for it to successfully turn the gas bubble golden while the rest of the water in the enhydro remains crystal clear. This is fascinating and special. It is also rare for an actual authentic New York Herkimer Diamond to have this type of anomaly. Another rarity of this piece is the quality. Aside from Natural contact on the exterioir of the stone it has good clarity and minimal inclusion. Usually enhydro Herkimer Diamonds have many inclusions and internal fractures. This one does not. It is an AA grade crystal, with the exception of the enhydro chamber and some micro-crystal "seeds" inside. These seed crystals are actually little free-form tabular diamonds that can only be seen under magnification. There are also some subtle holographic inclusions inside of this crystal too. These appear when the angle of light and point of observance are just right. This anomaly is vaguely shown in some of the listing photos and in the second facebook video more so than the first one. Metaphysically this crystal is superb. It is after all, a Golden Enhydro Crystal. The chamber for the enhydro looks like a tabular Herkimer Diamond. It is what I call a freeform phantom. It hasn't quite taken the full geometry of a manifestation crystal, but there are defined faces on it as well as some ladders which can be seen under magnified examination. The small gas bubble can move virtually anywhere within that tabular chamber. One end or termination of the crystal has an Isis face. This Isis face has a Diamond face attached to it. There is also a right activation window on that same termination. On the opposite termination is a second, much smaller right activation window ( future time link ). Essentially this Herkimer Diamond is geared toward Future manifestation. It promotes forth-flowing manifestations. I've always found these crystals helpful in assisting with that process.
